Community Involvement
My community is extremely important to me—Albany is where my family has built our life, and local leaders shape everything from aging services and community programs to the safety and vitality of our neighborhoods. I put in the effort because I know we have to fight for the change we want to see, and I work to elect leaders who understand that taking care of each other isn't optional.

Board President of the Albany Jewish Community Center
The Jewish value of tikkun olam- repair the world- drives me to serve my community and leave things better than I found them. After the JCC came to my family’s rescue during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing essential services so my family could thrive and survive, I was honored to be asked to lead this vital organization. In my first year as president, I've already jump-started an eight-figure capital campaign, securing a $5 million award from New York State to kick off a massive campus renovation the JCC has pursued for three decades. I will also oversee a critical leadership transition in the coming years. I’m honored for my work to have a transformative effect at the JCC for lasting, positive change in our whole city and community.

Local Politics
I worked on five political campaigns in Albany, four of which have won, and I’ve learned that change happens long after Election Day. I show up at rallies, canvas neighbors, and attend Common Council meetings to help shape policy in the City of Albany. I’m committed to staying engaged because persistent, informed participation is what strengthens our neighborhoods and drives equitable policy.

Former President of the Albany School of Humanities Parent-Teacher Association
ASH is a diverse magnet elementary school in the city school district of Albany, with 33 languages spoken by students. During my tenure as PTA President, I doubled membership, increased the budget, and built organizational infrastructure to support events, clubs, fundraisers, field trips, and after school programs. My time as PTA President was valuable for helping our schools improve to meet the needs of neighbors, parents, children, and educators alike.
